How Dan Brown does it

For those of us following the plagarism trial of Dan Brown, author of the Da Vinci Code, verses Baigent and Leigh, co-authors of Holy Blood, Holy Grail, here's an article from the UK's Independent on the latest. In it, Brown reveals his work habits and how he climbed to the top. For most writers, Brown's experience is eerily similar to their own.

I'll pull out the money quote: "For me, writing is a discipline, much like playing a musical instrument; it requires constant practice and honing of skills."

The case continues this week.
